Anthony & Elizabeth | Mendenhall Inn Wedding

July weddings can be brutal with the heat, but Anthony, Elizabeth and their entire bridal party were such troopers when it came time to head outside for some photos! What I noticed most was the huge smile Elizabeth sported all day…I don’t think you could have wiped it off her face it you tired! The second thing I noticed is that I may very well be the only person that calls Anthony….Anthony. This blog post should probably be titled ‘Capone & Elizabeth’.

This was one of those weddings that took me out of my comfort zone, but not in a bad way. We were confined to the church basement with lighting that was far from ideal for getting ready photos, and for the ceremony I was restricted to the balcony (even when the bride was walking down the aisle with her dad) due to church rules. You can’t always work with the perfect window light or in churches that allow you to move freely during a ceremony, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get some beautiful photos!

Here are a few previews from Anthony Capone & Elizabeth’s big day!

Just gorgeous from beginning to end. Loved your creativity and spontaneous shots despite your limitations. Anthony (our nephew) and Elizabeth were just floating that day and the photos prove it!

    Beautiful work – thank you!

P.S. Sending lots of love to you, Anthony & Elizabeth. . .hope you’re enjoying yourselves!!

  2. Jerry Capone says:

These pictures are wonderful. They really capture the spirit of the event. Post some more!

  3. Some of these photos are priceless. I loved the one of Elizabeth with her father and the staircase behind. The shot of the bride and groom coming down the aisle was perfect. In fact, there were so many really good ones I can’t think of them all. The entire wedding party looked amazingly handsome and beautiful. Purple really looked good on the women and made the pictures pop.
    Can’t wait for the video.
