your family as you know it

beautiful, chaotic, and packed with love
Even when they’re being tiny lunatics and they’ve taken you on a rollercoaster you can’t step off of … in your bones you want to hold onto these days with your kids. Looking back at the photos, you’ll find the love you can't ever get enough of in the details. Their favorite paci, wet cheek kisses, and the grins they exchange as siblings. And how you held onto them as if they're the greatest prize you could ever win after riding that roller coaster all day.
“THESE IMAGES ARE EVERYTHING TO ME! TRULY. I LOVE MY KIDS SO FIERCELY AND SEEING HOW MUCH THEY LOVE ME AND EACH OTHER IN THESE IMAGES IS SO POWERFUL.”
- Marisa M.
I know you wouldn't be here if you didn’t want these photos.. But—when life is moving 100 mph and you have countless things to-do today, family photos end up at the bottom of your list.
SO, here’s the deal: if you reach out, I’ll move your family photos to the top of MY todo list.
There won’t be anything for you to worry about leading up to, during, or after your session. I’ll make getting family photos as easy as hanging out with your family.
Before we shake on it…
To get family photos all you need to do is: show up as you are, let your love loose, and pick the photographs you could stare at forever.
Yeah, really really
Even if I photographed family sessions in the same spot every single time—they would all be different—because no two family’s love is the same.
I photographed Chris and Kate’s wedding back in 2018. Since then they’ve welcomed their twin boys, Liam and Jack. I had a last minute cancelation and I was so excited that it meant I’d get to see this beautiful family. They were able to pull outfits from their closets and we had a perfect night!
Oh man I was SO nervous for this session! Sara is a crazy talented photographer and I’ve been a huge fan of her work for years. I was honestly so surprised when she asked me to do a family session for her. Sara has a beautiful family and I had the hardest time picking favorites.
What a perfect fall evening! I had a last minute cancelation and was able to a session for my brother-in-law and sister-in-law. My schedule was so crazy last year that I wasn’t able to fit them in. They scrambled to pull outfits together at the last second and I’m so glad we were able to […]
We spent the evening of James & Caiti’s anniversary doing a family session the place they got married at 5 years ago It’s been a whirlwind year for this family. James was in the middle of his cancer battle when they welcomed their third baby girl. No doubt it was a struggle, but their constant […]
My brother eloped ya’ll! I spent my 4th of July photographing Curtis and Paola’s special evening at Rocky Mountain National park. I’m so happy that their day was exactly what they wanted it to be and feel so privileged to have been there.
Oh man what a wedding!! Kerri reached out a few weeks ago when their original photographer was no longer able to shoot their wedding. I feel so badly that they had to scramble to find someone new so close to their big day, but I am so darn happy that I was available and I […]
"I TREASURE THE PHOTOS JESS HAS TAKEN. THERE’S NO ONE AROUND THAT CAN DO IT LIKE HER.
- Ruby R.
Jess first took amazing photos of my daughter over 10 years ago and despite it being the first time I met her, she made it feel like meeting up with a friend. She's now taken portraits of my family for years."
