I’m sure most of you recognize Shireen, Noah’s beautiful mommy. She is due with her second little one in less than two weeks!! She and Juby do not know the sex of the child they are having and I CANNOT wait to hear whether it’s a boy or a girl! I’ve been stocking up on props since we will be doing a newborn session as soon as the baby makes its arrival. I LOVE being such a big part of documenting their growing family. I don’t need to ramble on about how much I love this family, or how supportive they have been as I feel like I’ve done it a million times before.
I met Shireen and Juby at their place before the session and was greeted by my favorite little boy, Noah. I even got to spend some time playing with him while Shireen finished getting prepared for the session. Noah made sure to show me every toy he possibly could before we left.
I have to say that it is not fair to look as good as Shireen does being 38 weeks pregnant. As you’ll see she is literally all belly. Being pregnant agrees with her! I was swollen, tired, and miserable by 38 weeks pregnant with both of my kids. I wonder if she ever doesn’t look beautiful?
The session was perfect. We started a little after dinner and wound up with some phenomenal light. Although it was a maternity session for Shireen, I of course had to get a few family shots. Noah is usually the center of attention when I’m around since the sessions are typically focused on him, but he had no problem with his Mommy getting all the attention this time. When we were finished and getting ready to leave Noah asked me to come home with them. I felt SO bad telling him I had to go home to my babies. Luckily, I will be seeing him again in just a few short weeks when his new baby brother or sister arrives!
I’m normally not a fan of this pose since I feel it is WAY too overused by photographers, but I like the way it turned out.
