If past behavior predicts future behavior, I think its safe to say that Malachi will be notorious for doing things on his own terms 😉 Not only did he arrive past his due date (Sammi had to be induced), he also put his Sammi through 50+ hours of labor. I think he was perfectly content in his Mama’s belly.Â
I was finally able to meet this sweet boy a few days ago. He made it pretty clear that he wanted to know what was going on at all times, and that he’d sleep when he decided he was good and ready (in true Malachi fashion of course). Luckily he was perfectly content when he was awake and we were still able to get some great shots! After spending some time on family photos inside and then venturing across the street to a local hiking trail, Malachi finally passed out and allowed me to pose him for a few photos. Here are a few of my favorite.
