Scott & Nicole | Chester County Engagement Photographer

October 3, 2013

What do you do when there is a government shutdown and the location you picked months ago for a session is suddenly shut down because it is a national park? You park across the street, sneak past the gate, and pretend you never saw the sign. Nicole and I chatted on the phone about what to do before their session, and although there are a ton of other great locations in the area, we kind of had our heart set on the one we had originally picked. We of course wound up being pretty much the only people there. Not only was that a plus, but the light that evening was absolutely beautiful!

Scott & Nicole decided to bring along their baby dog Cricket so she could be in a few pictures with them. Scott proposed by tying the ring to Cricket’s collar so it only made sense that she was there for their engagement photos.

I can’t wait to shoot Scott & Nicole’s wedding next year! Here are a few photos from their engagement session. Oh, and if you know Nicole, then you’re not surprised I wound up with a picture of her feeding a random horse her dog’s carrots 😉
